Maripily Rivera is promoting “Con la fuerza de un huracan”, her first autobiographical book. In this material, the Puerto Rican acknowledges that her life has been worth suffering, because everything she has experienced has led her to become the woman she is today, considered a true "Boricua Hurricane."

In the entertainment industry, Maripily is recognized for being an entrepreneur, host, actress, and reality show expert. She was the winner of the fourth season of Telemundo's "La Casa de los Famosos" and showed the world that the first and last name of the celebrity who accepts the challenge doesn't matter, but rather that they have enough authenticity to demonstrate their true worth.

In a recent interview with the Mezcal TV website, Maripily confirmed that she had intended to write a book for a long time, "but I wasn't ready mentally or emotionally, because it's like remembering" everything she had experienced. Because such an exercise forces you to remember the most painful intricacies of your life and at the same time to recognize the need for forgiveness.

In this interview, she highlights that the hardest thing she faced when coming face to face with her past was reliving "the abuse I received since I was little, because it was a time in my life when I couldn't defend myself well."

"It was a time in my life when I found myself alone, because my parents divorced, my mother had left," says Maripily.

Everything she has experienced in her life, according to Maripily, has led her to realize the inner strength she has been able to build. "God gave me the most difficult tests in life to become the woman I am today, and it was worth it, it is worth suffering."
