The Cuban actress Aylín Mujica has reappeared on social networks after confirming the death of her eldest son, DJ Marco Menéndez, who was only 30 years old.

In a brief, but emotional publication, the former member of “La Casa de los Famosos” spoke about the death of her first-born child while thanking the public and her colleagues in the artistic environment for the expressions of affection.

“Thank you very much family, I can only say that I am devastated,” Aylín Mujica wrote from her digital platforms accompanied by a broken heart emoji.

The soap opera villain's message came to light just a few hours after her ex-partner and Mauro's father, the musician Osamu Menéndez, confirmed the news of the young man's death.

In his statement posted on Facebook, the Cuban was speechless about the incident and confirmed his trip to Barbados (where Mauro Menéndez was at the time of his death) to repatriate his remains.

"Forgive me, I can't talk. My son Mauro died last night and I'm devastated. I'm going on the plane to look for his body. I love you always and I appreciate your condolences," declared the rocker.

Despite these two mentions, the family has not issued a formal statement or given additional details about the circumstances of the death.

Until now, the portal “Las Top News” reported that the health complications of the young man known as DJ MAAHEZ occurred when he was traveling from Miami to Barbados to take part in a baseball game, still suffering from the ravages of pneumonia.

Personnel close to Mauro, 30, shared with the press that he began to experience discomfort after practice. As a result, he was taken to a hospital, where he suffered a first heart attack and, later, a second from which he could not recover.
