Zendaya confirms that she will take a break from Hollywood after her successful 2026
The protagonist of "Euphoria" revealed that she will pause her career after completing the promotion of her five recent projects on the big screen
Actress Zendaya has one of the busiest schedules in Hollywood. And in just six months he has led the promotional tour for some of the most anticipated titles of the year, including: “Euphoria”, “The Drama”, “The Odyssey” and, soon, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”.
In the midst of this fruitful stage at a professional level, the famous 29-year-old has confirmed that she will take a well-deserved break from the spotlight once she concludes her long list of premieres.
In an interview with the Entertainment Tonight portal, Zendaya explained that once all her promotional commitments are finished, she will focus on prioritizing her rest and personal issues.
"This whole thing is a whirlwind, and you're in a different place every second, and your mind is all over the place. It's fun, I'm grateful and I wouldn't change a thing, but sometimes you just need to disappear for a while," she told the portal. "I just want to mind my business, you know? And stay calm."
And this decision has been well received by the public, who has closely followed the five successive press tours that he has led as part of his film and television projects. This journey began with the film “The Drama”, which is a production of the A24 studio and where he shares credits with the star of “Twilight”, Robert Pattinson.
Following this, Zendaya celebrated the premiere of the third and final season of her acclaimed series “Euphoria”, the one that earned her the Emmy for “Best Actress” on two occasions, in 2020 and 2022, and that once again earned her a nomination for its 2026 edition.
After said farewell, the famous woman got involved in the promotional tour for Christopher Nolan's film adaptation of “The Odyssey”, where she plays the goddess Athena.
In parallel with this tour, the young woman starred in some interviews and premieres in Rome and Paris to present a preview of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”, a production in which she plays MJ and shares the scene with her husband, Tom Holland.
It will be at the end of 2026 when Zendaya concludes her long list of work commitments with the premiere of Dune: Part Three, the closing of the successful saga directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet.
