The famous 33-year-old recalled one of her most popular songs, "Walk of Fame", in which she mentions this important place: "Although I love the lyrics, the fact that I will not be immortal is what creates the urgency that lights up my heart. My life, my art and my desire to tear down the walls of any box in which we have been tricked into believing it exists," she continued.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce highlighted that the artist joins the list of honored artists due to her consolidation as one of the most influential voices in contemporary pop thanks to her versatility in moving between pop, rock, country and soul.
Along with her contributions to the music and acting scene, Cyrus has contributed to various social causes. Some of the most popular are: the creation of the Happy Hippie Foundation, an organization that supports LGBTQ youth, and the Miley Cyrus Foundation, dedicated to supporting mothers in difficult situations.
Miley Cyrus' star is located at 7011 Hollywood Blvd., near the Madame Tussauds Hollywood Museum, where the artist has also been immortalized through her own wax figure.
