Millie Bobby Brown revealed that she would like to get pregnant after becoming an adoptive mother
The "Stranger Things" star assured that pregnancy and adoption are not exclusive paths, but rather two experiences that she wants to live
Actress Millie Bobby Brown once again surprised her followers by opening the doors of her family life and revealing her plans for future motherhood.
During her recent participation in the Not Gonna Lie podcast, hosted by Kylie Kelce, the “Stranger Things” star confirmed that she hopes to get pregnant “one day,” an experience that she longs to add to her present as a mother.
This statement comes after the 22-year-old actress and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, welcomed their first daughter through adoption in August 2025.
“I look forward to carrying a child one day,” Brown confessed, specifying that for her, pregnancy and adoption are not exclusive paths, but rather two deeply significant experiences that she wants to experience in her life.
The British woman explained that her connection with adoption is not accidental, but has roots in her academic past, since she studied social work for two years.
“I loved the aspect of adoption in my courses… so meaningful and important,” she said, ensuring that she and Bongiovi took the time to reflect on this process before embarking on it. “Adoption is love, adoption is forever,” he stated firmly.
In addition to talking about her maternal side, Brown took advantage of the space to defend her husband from criticism on social networks, where it was questioned whether she carried the baby's suitcases or the stroller. In this regard, the actress defended Bongiovi's chivalry and claimed female independence: "We are all in favor of empowering girls... But then, when I say 'it's okay, I can carry my own things,' people ask: 'Where is your husband?'" she concluded.
