Paty Cantu, a renowned Mexican singer, is in the middle of a controversy after her recent wedding to actor Christian Vazquez, held on November 29 in Puerto Vallarta.

The event stood out for its luxury, originality, and a menu inspired by contemporary Mexican cuisine, in addition to the use of three different dresses by Part of the singer's celebration included a green silk wedding dress that matched the groom's suit.

However, what was initially a cause for celebration is now the focus of controversy, after designer Paola Hinojos, creator of the Bernarda brand, accused Paty Cantu of not paying for or returning several garments she lent her for the wedding.

According to TVNotas, the singer had reached an agreement with the designer to receive the garments as a gift on the condition that she mention her on social media every time she wore them.

However, Cantu did not fulfill her part of the agreement, as she wore the pieces without tagging the brand and stopped responding to the designer's messages after the event, which angered the creative team.

A source close to the Bernarda brand confirmed that before reaching the agreement, Paty Cantu was given two options: buy the garments at a special price without mentioning the brand or receive them for free but on the condition that TVNotas noted that the singer chose the second option, but failed to honor the agreement to mention the brand on her social media. It is unclear whether the wedding dress the singer wore was part of the agreement with the brand. So far, Paty Cantu has not issued any statements regarding the brand's accusations. Over the weekend, Paty Cantu married actor Christian Vazquez in a lavish ceremony in Puerto Vallarta, attended by close friends and family.
