The wait is over for fans of the iconic animated story “Ice Age”, as the first preview of its sixth installment has finally come to light, titled: “Lava World”.

After 10 years of waiting, the first official teaser for the film was released through social networks, which promises to take the beloved characters “Manny”, “Sid”, “Ellie” and “Scrat” to the limit, to name a few.

In the minute-long teaser you can see the gang flying through the air after an intense explosion that lives up to the title “Ice Age 6: Lava World” and the adventures they will face.

Although the progress in the animation details of each character is noticeable on the screen, they retain the essence that led this production to gross more than $383 million dollars worldwide during its launch in 2002.

When is “Ice Age 6: Lava World” released?

According to first reports, this Disney production will be available in all movie theaters in the United States starting February 4, 2027.

Regarding the plot that will be followed in the film, Disney has decided to incorporate a theme that the audience is familiar with: climate change.

“Manny and his friends will travel through various scenarios while they experience the consequences of the eruption of a volcano, a phenomenon that will put at risk the tranquility of the ecosystem where they live,” is detailed in the synopsis of the film.

According to early reports, the melting of the polar caps is clearing the way to a mysterious unexplored region of the Lost World.
