Tom Holland confirms his marriage to Zendaya: “I found my person”
After months of speculation, the star of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" broke the silence about his marriage to the star of "Dune"
British actor Tom Holland started the promotional stage for the film “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” with a bombshell that the public had been waiting for months: the confirmation of his marriage with his Marvel co-star, Zendaya.
In an interview with Esquire UK magazine, the actor who plays the spider superhero put an end to speculation and confirmed that he married the “Dune” star, whom he referred to as “his favorite person in the world.”
"I found my person. She is my best friend, and I am the happiest I have ever been when I am with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe. Ever," said the UCM member.
These tender words arose when he was directly questioned about the wave of speculation about his alleged marriage. In this sense, he was asked if any family member was “upset” for having missed the wedding after the dissemination of images generated with artificial intelligence that went viral on the internet.
With a brief but forceful answer, the 30-year-old famous man announced that his union took place in the company of all his loved ones: “No, because everyone was there… That's all you will get about it,” he said.
Without providing more details about the wedding ceremony, Tom Holland reflected on what it means to share his life with Zendaya, someone who perfectly understands his pace of life and the challenges it brings with it.
“Our business can present very stressful situations and it is really good to have a foundation of relationship that will stand the test of time,” he said. Likewise, Tom Holland added: “We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we truly understand what it is like to live this life.”
The first to mention the couple's alleged marriage was Law Roach, Zendaya's renowned stylist, during her visit to the Actor Awards in Los Angeles in February of this year. "The wedding already happened. You missed it!" he said in an interview on the red carpet.
