Kanwariya Amit Prajapati has given a complaint to the Baradari police in connection with stone pelting on Kanwariyas in Bareilly's Jogi Nawada on Sunday. It mentions a crowd of 150 people including Usman Alvi, Maulana of the place of worship and his son, Salim Shah, Chhote Shah, Salim's son, Mamma Dhol, Rashid Mukhbir, Wahid, Chand Mohammad, Guddu, Sardar Shah and Bhura.

It was alleged in Tahrir that when the group of kanwariyas passed near the place of worship, Usman Alvi shouted loudly to kill these people. After this the stone pelting started. It is being told about Usman that he was a councilor for two terms. This time Premshankar was defeated by Rathore. The police have arrested Usman.

In Jogi Nawada of Baradari area, stones were pelted at Kanwariyas near the place of worship on Sunday afternoon. Many kanwariyas including women were injured in the incident. After this there was a ruckus. The kanwariyas started demonstrating on the road. They shouted slogans alleging the incident on the instigation of former councilor Usman. There was a jam on Pilibhit bypass.

During the stone pelting and subsequent ruckus in Jogi Nawada on Sunday, the police was making a video of the entire incident. The footage of 100 CCTV cameras around the spot has also been extracted. With the help of this action will be taken after identifying the culprits.

SP City Rahul Bhati told that the police was present with the batch from the beginning. Suddenly the situation became such that stone pelting took place. During this, the footage is available with the police from the starting point of the yatra till the uproar and the atmosphere calms down. The footage of about hundred CCTV cameras has been removed from the stone pelting site and its surroundings.
