Bihar: Opposition MLAs did not attend the monsoon session, legislature proceedings adjourned indefinitely

The monsoon session of the Bihar Legislature was adjourned indefinitely on Thursday. During this five-day session, opposition members in both houses did not participate in the proceedings of the house. The appeal of the Deputy Speaker on the last day of the session in the Assembly also did not affect the opposition members. In the army restoration, the opposition was adopting the attitude of protest against the Agneepath plan from day one, which continued till the last day. On Thursday, before the lunch break in the Legislative Council, the proceedings of the House were adjourned indefinitely. During this, the work could be done only for about 20 minutes and the proceedings had to be adjourned twice.

827 questions were taken out of which 713 were accepted.

There were 46 short-listed questions, of which 45 were answered.

Out of 572 starred questions, 553 answers were received by the House.

81 cases came to the attention of which eight were approved.
