It is known that in Bhalki Bharatpur village of Jarmundi police station area, Rajesh Raut, a resident of Maheshpur village of Ramgarh police station area, broke inside the door of the victim's house on the night of Thursday (October 5, 2022) and set it on fire by sprinkling petrol. During this, the victim told that when the body started burning, the eyes opened. During this, Rajesh was seen running out of the house. The victim told that three-four days ago Rajesh had threatened to kill her by burning her.
Victim had more than 90 percent burns
The victim suffered severe burns after spraying petrol in the house and setting it on fire. She was admitted to Phulo Jhano Medical College Hospital in critical condition, where after first aid, she was referred to RIMS, Ranchi for better treatment in view of the critical condition of the victim. The victim died on the way while bringing RIMS. The death of the victim was confirmed by the doctors of RIMS on their arrival here. It was told that the victim was more than 90 percent burnt.
Accused Rajesh Raut arrested
Here, as soon as the police got information about the eccentric lover setting fire to the victim by sprinkling petrol on the victim, the police got involved in the investigation. Jarmundi SDPO Shivendra said that the accused Rajesh Raut was arrested. At the same time, one lakh rupees were provided by the district administration for better treatment of the victim.
