Aurangabad. A big news is coming from the district. A fire broke out in the house of a businessman named Anil Goswami in the city's Ward 24 Sahganj (Teli Mohalla) locality on Saturday morning, in which three dozen people, including seven policemen, got burnt in the process of extinguishing.

In relation to the incident, it is being told that Chhath festival was taking place in the house of Anil Goswami, a resident of Sahganj in the district. All the family members were busy making prasad. Then suddenly the fire started due to gas leak. After which there was a stampede in the locality. The people of the locality started extinguishing the fire, but the flames were intensifying. The police and fire brigade team of the city police station were informed by the local people.

As soon as the information was received, the police and fire brigade team reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. Suddenly a gas cylinder exploded in the house, in which more than 30 people were scorched and seriously injured. After the incident, all the injured were rushed to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Where many people were referred by doctors.

Women constable Preeti Kumari, DAP Akhilesh Kumar, Jaglal Prasad, Saif Jawan Mukund Rao, Jaglal Prasad, Driver Mozzam and City Council President candidate Anil Odia, Rajiv Kumar, Mo Shabdir, Mo Aslam, Sudarshan, Arian amongst the injured police personnel. Three dozen people including Goswami, Mo Chhotu Alam, Anil Kumar, Shahnawaz were injured. The condition of 20 people is said to be critical.
