While issuing the notification on Thursday evening, the CAQM said that the central panel has decided to shut down all industries that do not run on clean fuel. The central panel has also barred the entry of trucks not running on electric or CNG into Delhi. However, trucks carrying essential commodities have been exempted from this.
The operation of diesel vehicles has been banned in Delhi-NCR. BS-IV vehicles, vehicles connected with essential and emergency services have been exempted from this.
