Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar delivered a 1,200-page judgment in the disqualification case of 16 MLAs, including Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. In his decision, the Assembly Speaker considered Shinde faction as the real Shiv Sena. Besides, the petition demanding disqualification of 16 MLAs was also rejected. Reading out the important points of the decision, he said that when the party was divided, the Shinde faction had the support of 37 MLAs. In such a situation, the group led by him is the real Shiv Sena. He also said that the Election Commission had also declared it valid.
