Apart from this, 52 companies of CRPF, 10 companies of Rapid Action Force, 43 companies of BSF, 4 companies of ITBP and five companies of SSB have been deployed to maintain law and order.

Claim of entry of militant organizations

But after this, neither the violence is stopping nor the number of deaths, two days back, 9 people lost their lives while more than 10 were injured in an attack by suspected extremists in a village there. In this dispute between the two communities, now the entry of extremist organizations is also being claimed. According to the state government, around 300 armed militants have entered Manipur's Bishnupur from Myanmar and are moving towards Kuki-populated Churachandpur.

What is the stand of the army?

State Chief Minister N. Biren Singh is also blaming these infiltrators and militants for the violence, according to him, the violence is the result of a fight between the Kuki militants and the security forces. However, the army's stand on this issue is just opposite to theirs, as the army has already said that the current violence in Manipur has nothing to do with militancy and is a conflict between two castes.
