The 24 political parties of the NDA led by the BJP will target 2024. The BJP is trying to convey the message of taking maximum psychological edge by keeping more and more parties with it during the meeting of opposition parties to be held in Bengaluru on July 17-18. The party has also approached eight new political parties for this which may appear in its fold on 18th July. However, it is also having an effect that the seat-sharing calculations in the NDA may go awry. All political parties can create trouble for the BJP leadership by demanding a bigger participation for themselves.

UP has emerged as the biggest stronghold of BJP. The party had won 73 seats from here in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and 62 seats in 2019. This time too, it wants to maintain its lead by winning all the seats in UP. But the real trouble of BJP starts from here. In fact, in 2019, its allies Apna Dal and Nishad Party in UP created difficulties for it by demanding more seats.

Apna Dal's Anupriya Patel had demanded three Lok Sabha seats for her party, on which there was difficulty in reaching a consensus till the last moment. Even after the formation of the government, Anupriya Patel increased the problems of the government by demanding a cabinet and a state level ministerial post. Uncomfortable to give it up, the BJP kept him hanging for a long time and it was only in the second expansion that he got a place in the cabinet. But the BJP did not compromise and he had to satisfy only a state level ministerial post. Will Anupriya Patel agree on only two seats this time and will not increase BJP's problems?

Similarly, Sanjay Nishad of Nishad Party is also known for bargaining. Last time also he had created problems for the BJP. His pressure to get more space for himself at the Center and in the Yogi Adityanath government continued to trouble the BJP till the end. This time also Sanjay Nishad can become a cause of trouble for the BJP.

Om Prakash Rajbhar is also expected to join the NDA camp. He left the BJP before the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections in order to find more possibilities for himself by bargaining. If they come together this time, what will be their stand, it can be understood.

Political analyst Sunil Pandey told that this time Janata Dal United is not with BJP in Bihar. In such a situation, it will have more seats to give to its allies. But it will be difficult to say how many seats Chirag Paswan of Lok Janshakti Party will agree to. Both Upendra Kushwaha and Chirag had left the NDA only on the demand of more seats in the NDA. This time when Jitan Ram Manjhi and one or two other small parties may come into the NDA camp. In such a situation, BJP's problems regarding seat sharing may increase.

Amid the unity of opposition parties, the importance of Maharashtra with 48 Lok Sabha seats has increased for the BJP. His morale has also been boosted by the arrival of Shiv Sena and a section of the Nationalist Congress Party with him. But the sword has already been drawn regarding the number of Lok Sabha seats. The MPs of the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde faction have already started staking claim for their Lok Sabha constituencies. On the other hand, the leaders of the Ajit Pawar faction have started staging a sit-in for their respective Lok Sabha constituencies.

The first problem before the BJP is going to be that from which Lok Sabha constituency does it give opportunity to its candidates and from which Lok Sabha constituency does it field the leaders of the allies. He is going to face a big contradiction from the leaders of his own party. The Lok Sabha seats on which the BJP leaders and workers had been preparing for a long time, now they will not only have to give up their claim, but will also have to cheer for the same opposition leaders against whom they had been beating till now. It will not be easy for the BJP to deal with this challenge.

BJP is making continuous efforts to increase its clan in South and North East also. Coming to terms with Kumaraswamy in Karnataka, he may face a similar situation. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana also, there can be a tough bargain on the coordination of seats of the allies. It will not be easy for the BJP leadership to deal with these challenges.
