Dulce María reflects on what it is like to be a mother of two girls
A little more than two months after giving birth to her second daughter, the artist shared a reflection on the transformation and challenges she experiences when raising two girls
The Mexican singer and actress Dulce María opened her heart again with her followers to talk about a process as transformative as motherhood.
A little more than two months after welcoming her second daughter, Fernanda, the result of her marriage to Paco Álvarez, the former RBD turned to her social networks to reflect with total honesty on the postpartum period and the whirlwind of emotions she experiences when becoming a mother of two girls.
Accompanied by tender photographs with her newborn in her arms, the artist confessed that she was experiencing a true metamorphosis. “Giving birth is a metamorphosis in every sense,” she explained, pointing out that, despite having the previous experience of raising her first-born María Paula, 5 years old, each process is unique and forces her to assimilate her new reality as she lands from this journey of creating life.
The interpreter described this facet as a deep combination of strength and vulnerability, a balance between the earthly and the spiritual.
When you see your baby smile, you feel a great sense of empowerment. “I can only say that I feel infinitely grateful for this great gift and that when I see this being smile I feel that I am capable of anything… even if later I feel otherwise,” she admitted.
For Dulce María, conceiving and giving life represents a true “superpower” of women, a process in which she lends her body, mind and spirit for the birth of a new soul.
On this path of reunion and rediscovery, the artist tenderly embraces the blessing of guiding her two daughters.
