Chandigarh Police has registered an FIR against Haryana Minister of State for Sports and former hockey player Sandeep Singh on the complaint of the women coach. At the same time, Sports Minister Sandeep Singh announced his resignation on the basis of morality. He said that till the investigation is completed, I am resigning on the basis of morality. The female coach had accused him of molestation. The women's coach had given information about the matter to the media after holding a press conference. At the same time, the opposition parties of Haryana were demanding the removal of the minister from the post. On Saturday, on the complaint of the minister, the Haryana government has formed the SIT. SIT will investigate the case in Haryana. At the same time, Chandigarh Police has increased the difficulties of the minister by registering an FIR. A case has been registered under Section-354, 354A, 354B, 342, 506 of IPC at Sector-26 Police Station, Chandigarh.

In the complaint given to the police, the female coach has given the date of the molestation incident as July 1, 2022. He has also demanded an investigation of the CCTV cameras installed from outside the minister's residence till Sukhna Lake. The women coach alleges that even before getting the job, the sports minister asked her to be friends first and later offered to be his girlfriend.

Alleged that the Sports Minister kept messaging him on Snap Chat and Instagram. On the question of not having chat messages of the minister, the women's coach said that she has strong evidence and she will present it in the police investigation. The women coach has demanded that the deleted messages should be recovered by conducting a forensic examination of the minister and his mobile, this will reveal the whole truth. The women's coach says that she will also meet state Chief Minister Manohar Lal and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in this regard. If she does not get justice, she will sit on dharna.  

The aggrieved woman coach has told in a conversation, that she has appealed to the Women's Commission several times.
