Kamala Harris, former vice president of the nation, omitted the name of Joe Biden when citing who, in her opinion, are the three most effective presidents in American history.
During the annual conference of the National Urban League, held in Nashville, Tennessee, the Californian politician was asked to name her Top 3 leaders whose work has elevated the country to greatness in recent years.
To the surprise of several Democrats, the big absentee from the list was his former boss Joe Biden.
First, he pointed to Franklin Delano Roosevelt whom he praised for “investing in people during difficult times.”
He then cited John F. Kennedy, as well as Lyndon B. Johnson, in both cases for their individual work.
He even mentioned Barack Obama and his contribution through the Affordable Care Act.
“If we were to find a problem that has plagued the United States for generations, it would be a health care system that has failed everyone except the rich,” he said.
"It's Joe and Jill's decision. We all said it, like a mantra, as if hypnotized. Was it grace or recklessness? In retrospect, I think it was recklessness. There was too much at stake. This was not a decision that should have been left to ego, to individual ambition. It should have been more than a personal decision," he wrote.
Despite her comments, recently, during her participation in the podcast “The Diary Of A CEO”, Jill Biden, former first lady of the nation, stated that her husband does not hold a grudge against the person who was her right-hand woman in the White House.
"They are still friends... They talk, she calls him or he calls her. You have to understand Joe as a person. He doesn't... hold grudges," he said.
