Bora rejects the Trump government and prefers to go to China
Bora Milutinovic showed his disagreement with the way the United States government is treating Mexican immigrants
In a pleasant chat with his valuable presence in the special edition of this publishing house on the occasion of the FIFA Club World Cup and the Gold Cup, events that are taking place in the United States, Bora, could not remain indifferent to the abuses that are being committed with the increase in immigration raids that President Trump has ordered in several cities in the United States.
“It's sad, there is no respect for people, there is no respect for race, the world must be aware that these people contribute so many positive things to a country, it is sad when there is a government like that of the United States and those that behave in this way and this makes you think about where we are going, that's why I am going to China now to spend a few days,” revealed with all clarity the sought-after coach born in Serbia.
On this subject, Milutinovic highlighted that: “I am going to China because it is a different world and the truth is that I am very happy. I have known China since 1977 when I started as a coach with the Pumas and then I was in Beijing where I was lucky that the team qualified for the 2002 World Cup and that was a huge joy.”
To conclude his point of view on this subject, the former coach who will lead the Mexican national team for the first time to play the famous fifth game in the 1986 World Cup that took place on Mexican soil, highlighted that: “I hope that this world situation is different and that people enjoy life instead of fighting every day.”
Without a doubt, Bora Milutinovic could not remain indifferent to the way in which ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) personnel have abused their power to detain Mexican citizens without taking into account their immigration status in the United States, based on their physical appearance, their language and above all the role they play, generating a great controversy worldwide.
Bora, unlike Javier Aguirre, coach of the Mexican national team who did not want to take a position on this issue, showed his disagreement with these measures and at the same time his empathy for all the problems and anguish that the Latino community in the United States is going through.
