Son Heung-Min arrives in Los Angeles and is the new reinforcement of LAFC
The South Korean striker signed with the Black and Gold for three seasons with the option to stay for two more
This Wednesday, LAFC announced its new signing: Son Heung-Min, who arrives from Tottenham on a permanent transfer.
The club announced that he will be a Designated Player until 2027, with an option to renew in 2028 and 2029, for two more years. He will occupy a spot on the international roster and will be eligible to play after receiving his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

For his part, the player himself highlighted the importance of Los Angeles as a sports city and expressed his eagerness to debut his new jersey.

During his 10-season spell at Spurs, Son scored 173 goals in all competitions, provided 101 assists and became the first Asian player to win the Premier League Golden Boot in the 2021-22 season.
Internationally, he has played in three World Cups and is a key figure for South Korea in their history, making over 130 appearances. There, he has scored 51 international goals and represented his country at the 2014, 2018, and 2022 FIFA World Cups, as well as four AFC Asian Cups. In 2018, he led South Korea to a gold medal at the Asian Games.
