The lightweight division of the World Boxing Council registers a key moment for Mexican boxing this weekend. During the morning of this Friday, Mexican fighter William Camarón Zepeda passed the scale procedure by registering an official weight of 134.6 pounds for his main event scheduled in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada.
For his part, American Lamont Roach weighed exactly the same figure of 134.6 pounds during the private weigh-in ceremony, placing both competitors within the regulatory limit of 135 pounds.

Camarón Zepeda's return to the dispute for a senior title takes place more than a year after his presentation against Shakur Stevenson.
