The player himself confirmed his change through social networks. LeBron James acknowledged that his intention was to leave the court after last season. But he will continue to be active in the best basketball in the world.

"I thought I was done when the season ended. I wasn't ready to announce it, and I knew I needed some time to really decide, but I was pretty sure I had played my last game. I was honest in that last press conference when I said I needed to look at myself and decide if I still love this game," LeBron began.

Reports from ESPN's Shams Charania detail that LeBron James would have reached an agreement with the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for $8 million dollars. “King James” would be on the team for two seasons.
