Tyson Fury surprises by predicting winner of Joshua.
Tyson Fury was direct and didn't hesitate to choose Paul - a YouTuber turned boxer - over the experienced Joshua
Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury surprised everyone by predicting that Jake Paul will defeat Anthony Joshua by knockout when they face off on December 19 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
In one of his Instagram stories, Fury was direct and didn't hesitate for a second to choose Paul—a YouTuber turned boxer—over the experienced Joshua, a former world heavyweight champion and Olympic medalist.
“Jake Paul by knockout,” wrote The Gypsy King—as Fury is also known—in the post and tagged the influencer.
The fight between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul will be an official bout and will be contested in the heavyweight division.
The fight will last eight rounds—each three minutes long—with 10-ounce gloves, and will be streamed worldwide on Netflix.
Recall that the YouTuber-turned-boxer was scheduled to fight Gervonta Davis on November 14th, but because 'Tank' was recently accused by his ex-girlfriend Courtney Rossel of assault, kidnapping, and false imprisonment, the fight was canceled.
Paul expressed his anger over what happened and assured everyone he would find an opponent soon. To everyone's surprise, the influencer chose Joshua, and most sports experts predict the Briton should win easily. However, some experts, like Tyson Fury, see the American fighter as having a chance.
Jake Paul, 27, has five wins after suffering his first loss to Tommy Fury by split decision, brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. The American YouTuber also has a record of 12 wins (six by knockout) and one loss. Anthony Joshua, 36, was knocked out in his last fight against Daniel Dubois last September. The British WBA lightweight regular has a record of 28 wins, 25 by knockout, and four losses.
