The WalletHub ranking was based on four criteria: healthcare, food, fitness, and green spaces
The financial platform WalletHub published its annual report on the Healthiest Cities in America for 2025, and the Californian city of San Francisco took first place in this ranking that evaluated 182 of the largest urban centers in the United States.
This report was based on 41 indicators grouped into four dimensions: healthcare, food, fitness, and green space.
Notably, California was the only state to rank three cities among the top 10 healthiest in the country.
