The new charges against Trump come on the same day that his lawyer met with prosecutors in a case related to alleged allegations of subverting the 2020 presidential election. Trump is accused of deleting surveillance footage at the Mar a Lago property, along with his personal staff, Waltin Walt Nauta, and the manager of the Mar a Lago property, Carlos de Oliveira. Conversations between Oliveira and Nauta have been introduced as documents in the case.
