There are loves that can never be forgotten, and for the family of Welsh striker Aaron Ramsey, who had a brief stint with Pumas UNAM, the loss of his pet "Halo" continues to be a heartbreaking loss, as evidenced by the emotional message shared on social media social media.
This is what Collen, the wife of the British striker, expressed when sharing a photo of her little companion who was lost at a dog shelter in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, while they were in their native Wales.
“I can't believe we're going to start a new year without you. I miss you,” wrote the food critic, who during the couple of months she was in Mexico shared how much she enjoyed the country and its rich culinary variety.
The pet's disappearance
The unfortunate incident of the Welsh national team striker's pet disappearing occurred last October when it was taken to a specialized dog care facility in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, where Aaron and his family were in Wales.
But days later, the footballer was informed that his pet was no longer at the shelter, so immediately, both he as a specialized company he hired. They began the search, and to this day, nothing is known about the dog.
What triggered the dog's disappearance
As a result of his pet's disappearance, Aaron Ramsey took about three weeks to report back to Pumas without the team's management's authorization and then returned to the team's facilities to treat the muscle injury he was suffering from.
But then he vanished and ended his working relationship with Pumas until last December 15th when he addressed the issue of his departure from Pumas: “I want to express my enormous gratitude to the coach, the coaching staff, and especially the medical staff for helping me during a difficult time with the injuries; however, with their help and a lot of hard work, I was ready and fit for the remaining matches, and I was really looking forward to giving my best for the Pumas.Which was a surprise and obviously a disappointment, so I had no choice but to return home to Wales,” concluded the Welsh striker.
