Leaders of the immigrant community in Los Angeles expressed their support for California gubernatorial candidate Xavier Becerra in the face of attacks by Tom Steyer Steyer.
Following the resurgence of Becerra's campaign, Steyer stated that the then-Secretary of Health and Human Services in Joe Biden's administration mishandled the reunification of thousands of immigrant families and unaccompanied children.
The race to lead the Democratic ticket for governor of California is tight after the withdrawal of Eric Swalwell, considered one of the favorites to fill the position currently held by Gavin Newsom.
