Hand signals helped rescue a woman who was a victim of domestic violence and arrest the suspect, the Alhambra Police Department in Los Angeles County reported Sunday.
Authorities said the woman's hand signal caught the attention of a passerby, who did not hesitate to contact the police.
Alhambra police officers arrested a man on weapons charges, the department said.
