"Currently we are not negotiating with the United States. Our negotiations are with Oman to guarantee passage through the Strait of Hormuz," declared the ministry's spokesman, Ismail Bagaei, during a press conference.
Bagaei insisted that any progress on issues related to the United States will depend on the evolution of the situation, hours after Trump assured that Tehran and Washington would resume their negotiations this Monday, after stating that he canceled a "massive attack" against Iran with the aim of reaching an agreement to end the conflict.
