North West surprises with the release of her debut EP “N0rth4evr”
Everything indicates that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter, North, wants to follow in her father's footsteps in music
North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has just taken a giant step in her artistic career. At just 12 years old, the eldest daughter of the famous couple released her first studio album, titled “N0rth4evr,” at midnight on Friday, May 1st. The EP contains six songs in which North demonstrates surprising versatility, exploring genres as diverse as emo, trap, punk, and metal. This release not only includes the audio of the songs but also comes with the music video for the title track, “#N0rth4evr,” which was directed by Ty Akimoto and Mack Ishida. What is known about the project? With this project, young North seems to be following in the footsteps of his father, Grammy-winning producer Kanye West. This isn't the young girl's first foray into the world of music: she had previously participated in several of her father's songs and collaborated with the artist FKA twigs. However, her solo career officially took off in February with the release of her first single, "Piecing on my Hand." Her growing confidence on stage was evident last month when she joined Kanye West for a concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, where they shared a live performance. It's worth noting that this isn't the first topic of conversation North has generated within the family. Last year, her mother, Kim Kardashian, had to address the criticism that arose when the girl appeared with fake facial piercings and tattoos, defending her daughter's creative freedom. After this foray into music, it seems North West is more than ready to take advantage of being the daughter of Kim and Kanye West, as she has also debuted as an entrepreneur and launched her jewelry line in February.
