Six arrested in protest on anniversary of ICE raids in Los Angeles
Six protesters were arrested after protesting the first year of ICE raids in Los Angeles; The Los Angeles Police declared the meeting illegal
At least six people were arrested after a demonstration that took place this Saturday afternoon as a protest on the first anniversary of intensified raids by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE) in downtown Los Angeles.
Hundreds of protesters gathered in front of the Metropolitan Detention Center, in the area of Temple Street and Aliso Street, carrying flags and banners. From the first moments of the meeting, there were some clashes between protesters and police officers.
At one point, the situation became tense when Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents attempted to arrest a protester on the street.
