They build the tallest building in Latin America: 96 floors and a glass façade
An imposing skyscraper is being built in Mexico and plans to be the tallest in Latin America and the second on the entire continent: know its structure
In the city of Monterrey, one of the main metropolises in Mexico, the Rise Tower is being built, a gigantic skyscraper that promises to become the tallest building in Latin America and is already entering the history of continental architecture.
The megaproject will have a total height of 484 meters and will have 96 habitable floors, in addition to an architectural spire that will complete its final height. With these dimensions, the tower will also become the second tallest structure in the entire American continent, only behind the One World Trade Center.
Currently, the tallest building in Mexico is the T.OP Torre Obispado, also located in Monterrey. However, the new Rise Tower will exceed that mark by more than 170 meters.

What will the Rise Tower, which is being built in Mexico, look like inside?
The developers explained that the building was conceived as a mixed-use complex, integrating housing, offices, hotels and commercial spaces in a single structure.
The distribution will include:
Likewise, reports highlight that the intention of the project is to create a kind of “vertical city”, where residents, tourists and workers can coexist within the same space.
Glass facade and sustainable approach
One of the most striking elements of the Rise Tower will be its exterior design. The building will have a thermally controlled glass façade, designed to reduce the impact of heat and improve energy efficiency.
Additionally, the structure will incorporate curved corners to minimize wind pressure, a key aspect in high-rise buildings.
The project also seeks to stand out for its environmental focus. According to its developers, it will have more than 4,000 square meters of green areas and has already obtained international certifications related to sustainability and well-being, including LEED Silver, Green Globes, Building EQ and Well.
These accreditations evaluate factors such as energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality and responsible consumption of resources.
Where exactly will it be located?
The tower is built in the Obispado neighborhood, one of the best-known and highest areas of Monterrey.
The skyscraper will be located near the Obispado hill and in front of the Santa Catarina River, which will allow it to become a new visual reference point within the city.
Due to its height and design, specialists believe that the Rise Tower could become one of the most recognizable urban symbols of Mexico in the coming years.
