The Coalition for the Human Rights of Immigrants (CHIRLA) issued an unusual notice aimed at the immigrant community after detecting an increase in reports of immigration arrests inside airports across the country, even during domestic flights.
According to a statement released by the organization itself, the arrests have been documented in terminals such as Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO), in addition to reports from Nevada, Colorado, Massachusetts, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, New Jersey, Texas and Virginia.
