After casting his vote in the assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from the Ramban constituency, Rakesh Thakur, addressed the media with optimism regarding the region’s future under BJP leadership. He highlighted the transformative changes that Jammu and Kashmir have witnessed since the abrogation of Article 370, attributing the progress to the development works initiated by the party.

Thakur expressed confidence in the BJP’s stronghold in the region, stating that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have embraced the changes brought about by the abrogation of Article 370. “After the abrogation of Article 370, a lot of development has taken place in Jammu and Kashmir, and we went among the people with those development works in the elections,” said Thakur after casting his vote.
