Amazon has officially announced the return of one of its most anticipated events for Prime shoppers: Prime Big Deal Days, which will be held on October 7 and 8, 2025. The company kicks off the holiday shopping season with thousands of deals exclusive deals, deep discounts, and special perks for its members.
Jeff Bezos’ company confirmed that Amazon Prime Big Deal Days will begin at 12:01 a.m. PT on October 7 and will be available only to Prime members.
“Prime Big Deal Days kicks off the holiday shopping season with exclusive deals for Prime members on must-have items and popular gifts,” said Carmen Nestares, vice president of North American Marketing and Prime Tech.
During these two days, members can access discounts of up to 40% on home essentials like blankets and bedding, as well as discounts on electronics, toys, beauty, and holiday items.
To make this event a more seamless experience, Amazon offers tools like Rufus, its AI-powered shopping assistant, and Amazon Lens, which lets you search for products just by scanning them. Additionally, Alexa+ can help you track prices and wish lists.
Meanwhile, Amazon Days lets users choose a specific day to receive multiple orders together, reducing packaging and emissions. In 2024, this service used an average of 20% fewer boxes.
Discounts on recognized brands and exclusive products
According to the company, during Prime Big Deal Days, shoppers will find deals on products from notable brands such as Samsung, LG, Sonos, Dyson, Ninja, and Shark. There will also be special promotions on toys from Fisher-Price, MAGNA-TILES, and Tonies, as well as beauty products from Lancome, holiday decor from National Tree Company, and other Amazon-exclusive items.
One of the big draws this year is early access to a selection of the hottest holiday products, thanks to the launch of the Holiday Shop, where you can find everything you need to decorate, give gifts, and celebrate.
Early bird deals and extra perks
But you don't have to wait until October 7 and 8 to take advantage of the deals. Amazon is already offering early bird discounts for those who want to start planning their purchases.
You can find the 25 best early bird deals on gifts from brands like Clinique, De'Longhi, Samsung, and UGG. There are also sales on Amazon private label products, fall clothing for the whole family starting at $10, and devices like Kindle, Fire HD Kids, and Echo Dot, with up to 50% off.
Readers can also take advantage of up to 80% off Kindle books and get three free months of Kindle Unlimited, giving them access to popular titles like Fourth Wing and Regretting You.
Plus, Prime members have the chance to experience exclusive experiences, like early access to the movie Wicked: For Good, premiering November 17.
More ways to save: cards, gas, and food
Prime Visa members can receive a $150 gift card upon approval, plus earn up to 10% back on select brands like Breville and Dyson during Prime Big Deal Days. There are also benefits to using the no-rush delivery option, with stackable rewards.
As if that weren't enough, starting October 3, members can save $1 per gallon of gas at participating bp, Amoco, and ampm stations. And if you're a nugget lover, Grubhub+ (included with Prime) is offering a free daily McDonald's Chicken McNugget meal until October 5 at participating restaurants.
This event will have an international presence. Prime Big Deal Days will also be celebrated in countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom, among others. In total, it is active in more than 15 markets globally.
Remember that to take advantage of Prime Big Deal Days discounts, you must be an Amazon Prime member. Anyone can sign up for $14.99 a month or $139 a year, or start a 30-day free trial.
Qualifying 18- to 24-year-olds can apply for a reduced student rate of $7.49 a month or $69 a year, plus a six-month free trial. People who receive government assistance, such as SNAP vouchers, can also access Prime at a reduced rate, for just $6.99 a month.
