María Becerra revealed that she has lost four pregnancies
After a hemorrhage that put her life at risk, doctors confirmed that she will not be able to conceive naturally, although she maintains her dream of being a mother.
In an emotional and sincere interview for the “Latino Champs” series in Miami, María Becerra moved the public by revealing for the first time a painful chapter in her personal life: the loss of four pregnancies between 2023 and 2025 with her partner, also singer J Rei.
The artist, popularly known as “La Nena de Argentina”, explained that the first of these losses was due to an ectopic pregnancy in which she suffered a ruptured fallopian tube and severe hemorrhage.
This first incident was followed by two spontaneous abortions. However, the last episode was the most critical and almost cost him his life. "I lost my vital signs, I was seizing. The doctor said, 'We're going to do everything we can, but there's a chance I might not survive,'" the singer recalled.
As a result of these medical complications, the Argentine interpreter confirmed that the consequences permanently affected her reproductive health. “I can't have babies naturally, because they put my life at risk,” she said.
Despite the diagnosis, Becerra was optimistic about the future thanks to advances in science: "We are in 2026. We have technology, the laboratory and the money. We can have a family, but not naturally."
Finally, she explained that she decided to break the silence with the aim of raising awareness among other women about the symptoms of ectopic pregnancy, which she was completely unaware of at the time.
The hard experience had already been subtly captured in his music six months ago with the release of the song “Mi Amor”, in which he included verses dedicated to the “angels” he shares with J Rei.
