A 21-year-old Hispanic man was charged this Friday with felony vehicular homicide and evading a police officer resulting in death after being involved in a police chase that ended in a crash in which another motorist died in Placentia, in Orange County of Orange.
Darwin Felipe Bahamon Martinez did not enter a plea of ??guilty or not guilty to the two felonies during his arraignment on Friday, which was rescheduled for Wednesday, January 28, at the North Justice Center in Fullerton.
According to authorities, the police chase began at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, near the intersection of Miraloma Avenue and Lawrence Avenue in Anaheim.
