Dua Lipa and Callum Turner: All the details of their wedding in Sicily
After their intimate civil marriage in London, the singer and the actor organize a mega event with 300 luxury guests in historic Italian settings
After formalizing their union in an intimate civil ceremony at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner chose the idyllic island of Sicily, Italy, to host an extravagant wedding celebration that will last three days.
The display of events will begin this Thursday and will bring together some 300 music and entertainment personalities. The main ceremony will take place in the iconic Villa Valguarnera, an imposing 17th century baroque construction in Bagheria, famous for appearing in the credits of the series “The White Lotus”.
The festivities will continue on Saturday at the Palazzo Gangi in Palermo, a historic location that hosted the filming of the film classic “The Leopard” (1963). A second civil liaison led by the mayor of Palermo, Roberto Lagalla, is also planned.
The list of confirmed celebrities includes the likes of Elton John – who is rumored to be giving a private performance – Charli XCX, Mark Ronson and Olivia Dean.
Given the magnitude of the guests, security will be extreme: workers have already installed giant screens to fool the paparazzi and the exclusive Villa Igiea hotel closed two entire floors of suites under strict confidentiality contracts.
Fashion will be another of the great attractions. The renowned designer Donatella Versace would have prepared an exclusive collection of 26 outfits for the “Levitating” singer to choose from throughout the weekend, added to a special design by Simon Porte Jacquemus.
The couple, who revealed their engagement at the end of 2024, chose Sicily after falling in love with its landscapes during a holiday last summer.
