The San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office filed 10 charges against the man accused of fatally shooting Hispanic Sheriff Andrew Nunez on October 27, during a response to a domestic violence incident in Rancho Cucamonga.
San Bernardino County District Attorney Jason Anderson announced Monday that Angelo Jose Saldivar, 47, faces one count of murder with two special circumstances, including the killing of a peace officer in the line of duty.
“Our office filed 10 charges against Angelo Saldivar as a result of conduct he committed a week ago. The first charge is for the murder of Officer Andrew Nunez,” Anderson said.
