A 3-year-old Hispanic girl was bitten by a rattlesnake, an incident that occurred a few steps from her home, in the city of Santa Clarita, in Los Angeles County.
Addy Barajas was the victim of the attack when she tried to take an Amazon package that had been left on the garden fence of her house, without realizing that there was a South Pacific rattlesnake underneath.
According to the girl's father, Manuel Barajas, his wife told Addy to come get the package, knowing that it was a gift for the girl.
