Texas authorities are continuing an investigation to locate Christine “Chrissy” Hill, a 38-year-old woman who disappeared after leaving her home on Sunday afternoon.

According to the story given by her husband to local media, Hill left her residence in Copperas Cove with the intention of going to a nearby convenience store, but since then she has not been seen again nor has she responded to calls or messages.

His family assures that the lack of contact has lasted longer than usual and has generated concern among those close to him.

Family says absence is unusual for its length

The woman's husband explained that on previous occasions she had gone out unexpectedly, although he stated that she had never been away from home for such a long period of time.

He also noted that his attempts to trace movements through mobile phones and bank records were unsuccessful.

According to his statements, he now fears that his wife may have moved out of the Copperas Cove area.

The family indicated that the couple's three children have also been affected by uncertainty as they wait for news.

Police opened investigation and assigned the case to a detective

The Copperas Cove Police Department reported that it received a request for a welfare check on June 14, after the husband reported that the woman had not returned home.

As part of the first steps, agents went to places that, according to the complainant, were frequented by Hill, but they were unable to locate her.

The authorities later incorporated the woman's description and her vehicle data into police systems to expand the search.

The investigation was assigned to a detective in charge of following new leads and information that may arise.

Authorities asked anyone with information about his location to contact the Copperas Cove Police Department.
