“Last night, an individual attempted to assault one of our federal prosecutors—my dear friend @USAttyHabba—caused damage to her office, and then fled. Fortunately, Alina is safe. No act of violence or threat of violence against any federal official will be tolerated. Period,” she stated.
The Tampa Republican reiterated that during the current federal administration, no manifestation of violence will be permitted, and a firm hand will be taken against anyone who attempts to perpetrate it.
“We will find this person and bring them to justice. This Department will use every legal resource available to ensure your safety and that violent offenders are held fully accountable,” she warned.
