Elizabeth Gutierrez is grateful to be Sara in Velvet: El nuevo imperio
Elegance, charisma and beauty... all of this is what Sara represents in the role of Elizabeth Gutierrez
Elizabeth Gutierrez has been one of the most versatile protagonists on Hispanic television. She has starred in important projects, including hits such as "The Face of Analia," "El Fantasma de Elena," "Amor Comprado," and "El Rostro de la Venganza."
"Velvet, El Nuevo Imperio" is the project with which Gutiérrez returns to acting, giving life to Sara. A naturally elegant woman, sensual in her manner, and with a mystery that transcended the screen during her first scenes alongside Spanish actor Yon González, who plays Alberto Marquez.
We spoke exclusively with Elizabeth, and she told us about her happy return to the small screen. She told us how warmly she was received by the team and how supported she felt at all times. She celebrated the support she has received from her unconditional friends, and how in the long run, this support is what has allowed them all to find a safe place.
She explains that as an actress, it's easy to get into character and become an uninhibited woman, but she explains that in real life, she is not like that, but quite the opposite. She describes herself as a shy woman, although a dreamer and determined.
After this triumphant return, the actress is ready for physically demanding projects. She would like to be part of an action series, as she fondly remembers everything she achieved with Analia. This was one of Telemundo's highest-grossing stories in 2008-2009, with 178 episodes in total.
