Bad Bunny becomes the first Latin artist to raise 1,000 million
The Puerto Rican artist breaks an unprecedented record in the music industry by exceeding one billion dollars in concert revenue
Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny became the first Latin artist to surpass the historic figure of $1 billion in revenue with a concert tour.
The milestone, reported by the specialized magazine Billboard through its Billboard Boxcore data, takes on value as it is a musical tour completely in Spanish.
Since its first performances between 2017 and 2019, through the success of “El Último Tour del Mundo” and the “World’s Hottest Tour” in 2022, the so-called “Bad Rabbit” has demonstrated relentless box office consistency. However, it was his current world tour, “I SHOULD THROW MORE FOTOS World Tour”, that has ended up catapulting him to the top.
Only this last tour of stadiums already outlines extraordinary numbers, accumulating millions in profits and gathering crowds in places as competitive as Europe.
Recently, its passage through cities such as Barcelona, Lisbon and Madrid brought together more than 366,000 attendees in a period of less than two weeks, according to Billboard.
The financial impact accumulated by the star of the urban genre translates into approximately 1,080 million dollars in box office generated throughout 260 concerts from 2017 to the present, adding more than 6.4 million tickets sold globally throughout his career.
This historic success is largely driven by the “I SHOULD TIRAR MORE FOTOS” tour, which has already exceeded $360 million in revenue and sold 2.4 million tickets in just its first 41 presentations.
With 15 dates still to be booked before its official closing on July 22 in Brussels, industry analysts estimate that this solo tour will exceed $450 million at its conclusion.
This massive achievement at the world's box office adds to another unforgettable milestone of 2026, the year in which the Puerto Rican artist made history by obtaining the Grammy Award for Album of the Year for a production completely in Spanish thanks to “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS”.
