This week, Dua Lipa surprised her followers by sharing that she obtained the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) in Spanish just before starting her highly anticipated Radical Optimism Tour in Mexico.

The British singer, known for her energy on stage, proudly showed off her certificate on her social media, reflecting her commitment to getting even closer to her fans Spanish speakers.

Through her Instagram stories, Dua Lipa announced that she passed the official Spanish exam with a photo in which she is seen posing smiling next to her native teacher, who accompanied her throughout the learning process.

The study of the language was adapted to the singer's busy schedule thanks to virtual classes, allowing her to advance at her own pace and combine her tours and recordings with her study process.

Dua Lipa's interest in Hispanic culture and her desire to authentically connect with followers in Latin America were the reasons that prompted her to formalize her studies.

Currently, the singer is preparing for the advanced level exam (A Level), which delves into literature, grammar, and oral expression.

The singer has expressed her interest in the Spanish language on several occasions, such as in concerts or videos on social media in which she is seen pronouncing some phrases or words.

The singer will return to Mexico City with two concerts on the 1 and December 2 at the GNP Seguros Stadium as part of her Radical Optimism Tour.

Dua Lipa also has shows planned in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, and Colombia in November.
