Jonathan Majors suffered an accident while filming an action movie
The actor accidentally fell through a tempered glass window from a height of almost two meters while filming a scene with JC Kilcoyne
Jonathan Majors' return to action cinema has been marred by a serious accident on set and a growing career crisis. According to recent reports, the actor and his co-star, JC Kilcoyne, accidentally fell through a tempered glass window from a height of nearly two meters while filming a scene for their new movie, produced by The Daily Wire. According to People, the incident occurred when the actors stepped backward against a glass panel that, according to production sources, had recently been replaced with an unsecured sheet of tempered glass. This piece was intended for a later stunt scene in which the main actors would not be involved. However, the change was not properly communicated, causing Majors and Kilcoyne to crash through the glass and fall. Despite the dramatic fall, Majors reportedly emerged unscathed and was even heard saying, “Use it!” in reference to the shot. However, Kilcoyne suffered hand injuries that required several stitches.
Safety Crisis and Workers' Strike
This accident was the final straw for a production already facing serious problems. Members of the IATSE union went on strike and left the set on March 26, citing unsafe working conditions and a lack of basic protocols.
Workers reported everything from the presence of black mold on the premises to props falling on medical personnel.
Dallas Sonnier, producer of “Bonfire Legend,” downplayed the incident and the union's demands, calling the strike “illegitimate.”
Despite the departure of more than 60% of the original crew, production continues to search for replacements to finish the film, while tensions between producers and Hollywood unions continue to escalate.
