Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made their first appearance together after their wedding
This weekend the newlyweds were seen for the first time in public as husband and wife during the wedding of NFL player JuJu Smith-Schuster
Just over a week after starring in one of the most anticipated events of the year, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made their first public appearance as husband and wife.
The pop superstar and the star player of the Kansas City Chiefs, who were married on July 3 in a dazzling but strictly guarded ceremony at New York's Madison Square Garden, decided to come out of their brief wedding retreat to celebrate the love of close friends on the West Coast.
The couple's long-awaited debut as spouses occurred last Friday, July 10 in Laguna Niguel, California. The newlyweds traveled to attend the wedding of JuJu Smith-Schuster, New York Giants player and Kelce's former teammate, with model Laura Kruk.
The event, held in front of the ocean in the exclusive facilities of the Ritz-Carlton Laguna hotel, offered the perfect setting to see the loving and relaxed Swift and Kelce.
During the celebration in California, Taylor Swift captured attention by reaffirming her characteristic romantic and feminine style. The performer wore a flattering strapless dress with a floral print in pink tones from Markarian, complemented with dark sunglasses and her iconic red lipstick. However, the accessory that caught the most attention was her new wedding ring, which she proudly wore along with her engagement ring.
For his part, Travis Kelce wore a charcoal gray suit, white shirt and matching tie, maintaining the sophistication that characterizes him.
Witnesses to the event told Page Six that the couple shared the ceremony table with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes. The singer was seen very smiling, enjoying a glass of champagne and mingling pleasantly with the rest of the guests.
Although their own wedding featured a massive list of a thousand elite guests—where they wore Christian Dior Haute Couture designed by Jonathan Anderson, and were attended by stars like Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Ed Sheeran and Selena Gomez—security was so tight that no images have been leaked, making this appearance in California the first official look as husband and wife.
