Kim Kardashian shared with her followers a glimpse of her family summer, and there is a luxury guest in the photos: Lewis Hamilton. The businesswoman and reality television star posted a selfie in which she appears with the British driver and her 8-year-old daughter Chicago, confirming the growing integration of the seven-time Formula 1 champion into her personal life.

“Summer at the lake with my favorite people ✨🦋,” Kardashian wrote alongside the images, which also include her three other children – North (13), Saint (10) and Psalm (7) –, her sister Khloé and several nephews, enjoying activities such as quad rides and games with sparklers during the 4th of July celebrations.

What many see as a sudden romance actually has deep roots. Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton met in 2014 at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London. At that time, the businesswoman attended with her ex-husband Kanye West, while the pilot arrived accompanied by the singer Nicole Scherzinger.

Over time, Hamilton became a close friend of the family. The rapper and the racer developed their own friendship, and the pilot was even invited to family celebrations such as Easter 2015 and accompanied the Kardashian-West at the Glastonbury festival, where Ye was the headliner.

"He's outspoken, to say the least. I love that. He's electrifying in everything he does," Hamilton said at the time about West.

The turn of 2026: from friends to couple

The turning point occurred at the end of 2025, when they met at a New Year's Eve party hosted by Kate Hudson in Aspen. From there, the meetings became more frequent and stopped seeming casual.

In January 2026, the businesswoman traveled to the United Kingdom to meet the pilot at the exclusive Estelle Manor hotel in the Cotswolds. The confirmation came on February 8, 2026, when they were photographed together and comfortable during the Super Bowl in Santa Clara, California.

Since then, the couple has been spotted in multiple destinations: Japan, where Kardashian was on a family vacation; Paris, during fashion week; and Malibu, where the paparazzi captured them on a date with public displays of affection.

Sources close to the couple say that Hamilton gets along well with Kardashian's children. “Lewis loves kids, so it's been fun for him,” an insider told reporters. “The kids think Lewis is very cool, especially Chicago and Saint, who are completely fascinated by the fact that he drives racing cars.”

Furthermore, everything indicates that the businesswoman's presence has also had a positive impact on Hamilton's sporting performance.

After signing for Ferrari, the driver achieved important results, and when his former teammate George Russell asked him if the key to success was “a fast car or a new girlfriend,” Hamilton responded: “It's a good question… for us, finally seeing the hard work we've been doing brings us back to where we want to be and, of course, Kim.”
