The rapper and businessman Kanye West has managed to stop the legal process that his former employee, the young Lauren Pisciotta, initiated against him in 2024, when she formally accused him of alleged sexual harassment before a Los Angeles Court.
It was on July 29 when Pisciotta's defense team notified the authorities that both parties reached an agreement whose terms have not yet been announced.
According to information released by the TMZ portal, the formal request to dismiss the complaint filed against West will be presented within 45 days after the date the agreement was signed, that is, July 23 of this year.
“The agreement is ‘unconditional’ and the terms of the agreement will remain out of the public eye,” the publication highlights.
What accusations did the lawsuit against Kanye West include?
According to documents recovered by media such as Infobae and CNN, the working relationship between Lauren Pisciotta and Kanye West began in July 2021. On the eve of the launch of his Yeezy brand, the famous man offered him a salary of one million dollars in exchange for his services as a personal assistant 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In the complaint, the young woman detailed that she combined her work as a personal assistant with an OnlyFans page that generated an additional million dollars. However, on instructions from the rapper, he closed this source of income in exchange for a salary increase that would match his earnings on the platform.
Pisciotta accused Kim Kardashian's ex-husband of non-payment, as well as inappropriate sexual conduct against him.
The influencer maintained in her lawsuit that she was fired after receiving multiple text messages and videos with explicit sexual content without her consent. In addition, he would have shared explicit details of sexual acts that he wanted to experience, along with photos and videos of West having sexual relations with other women.
In his testimony he added that he also received intimate photos of “current and former” employees within the Yeezy company. At the time, Kanye West's team categorically denied the allegations.
